Souxe Meze

Souxe Meze is your place if you're looking for a greek meze (tapas) place. The food is delicious and the concept of sharing food is very nice. We like to try many different dishes and with the meze we ordered the whole menu to test it.

Taste

The food was very delicious. Even the greeks from our group confirmed that the food was very good, even though it was interpreted a little bit more modern and not a traditional, authentic cuisine. But still the taste was very good and everyone was happy and full in the end.

Location

The Souxe Meze is located at the Münchner Freiheit in Alt-Schwabing. Very close to the subway, tram and bus station its very well connected. Its also close to the english garden.

Atmosphere

The interior is very modern and nice. Unfortunately the whole restaurant is very loud when its fully booked. They have a large outside seating area in summer which is super nice and cosy to sit.

Service

The service was friendly but quite slow. We visited a couple of times and on one or two occasions they forget to serve us at all or it took at least an hour. Bring some time when you visit. Its nothing for a quick dinner.

Price

The food is expensive you can expect to pay around 10€ per Meze and you will need at least 3. Overall you should expect to pay at least 60€ per Person.

Date suitability

Souxe Meze is a very nice date spot. The interior is nice, the food is very good and you have couple of options where you can go for a drink afterwards. Check out our Bars in Alt-Schwabing or just take for a romantic walk into the english garden.

Wine selection

They have a good selection of wines from greece and Italy. Definitely a good place to have a glass of wine.
