Occam Deli

The Occam Deli is a nice Cafe located in the middle of Alt-Schwabing next to the English Garden. They serve very good coffee, nice homebaked cakes and with a lot of seatings outside its the perfect place to hang out in summer time.

Taste

Fancy Omlette, Sandwiches and other food you would expect from a newly hyped Deli in New York. The food is fresh and delicious. Would highly recommend for breakfast or coffee time, not so much for dinner.

Location

Near Münchner Freiheit and English Garden in the center of Alt-Schwabing.

Atmosphere

Nice interior like you expect it from the delis from New York. The atmosphere is nice and you also have a lot of outside seatings which makes it perfect for hanging out in summer time. One of the few spots in Schwabing that have sun all day but also shadow if you prefer that.

Service

Service is friendly and professional. Depending on the occupancy sometimes waiting times are a bit longer but in general the service is very good.

Price

Its definitely above average in terms of pricing. Food ranges between 14 to 16 Euros for a Breakfast meal and up to 23 Euros for a Lunch (e.g. Lobster and Shrimp Roll - 23€). Expect to pay at least 40 € for a breakfast.

Date suitability

A very nice dating spot. The food selection is broad so everyone will find something and due to its seats outside its the perfect place to have a nice white wine on a warm summer evening with your date. Also plenty of options to go for a romantic walk after wards through the english garden or the beautiful Alt-Schwabing.
